Well, here I sit typing my FIRST blog entry ever, hence the title of this entry. Truthfully I have no real clue as to exactly what it is that I am supposed to be doing. I think It's either polishing up my typing skills, which currently suck, or embellishing on the subject of digital photography. Let's hope it's the latter.
I've been shooting digital for about three years now. Film is just too damn expensive, though it should be stated that film will always better appear through my eyes. I love shooting motoring events such as motorcycle racing, openwheel racing, etc but also enjoy animals and wildlife tremendously. Nothing beats watching two lionesses wrestling and beating eachother senseless!
This year I hope to improve my artistic skills as a photographer. I am a true believer that it's the photographer, NOT the gear that will turn out exceptional exposures.(eventhough I lug 20 pounds of camera gear with me every day)

Okay, well you really didn't say much about digital photography but at least you polished up your typing skills.
Your iamges looked great but as we discussed in crit you probably should have shot some more for this assignment. I know, I know: you work 50 hour weeks. I get that but we all work hard, long hours. You'll shoot more next time, I can feel it.
